Terms and Conditions

1. Competition Overview This competition is organised by Back to Basics and will run from 1 February 2025 to 31 July 2025. By entering the competition, participants agree to comply with the terms and conditions outlined below.

2. How to Enter To participate, entrants must complete the following steps:

  • Purchase any Back to Basics product from our website or authorised retailer.

  • Leave a review on the Back to Basics website based on your purchase.

  • Follow Back to Basics on both Facebook and Instagram.

  • Tag a friend in the comments of the competition post.

Each completed entry will be considered valid for the random draw. Failure to complete any of the above requirements will result in disqualification.

3. Selection of Winner The winner will be chosen using a random selection tool, such as Random.org, to ensure fairness. Back to Basics reserves the right to verify that all entry requirements have been met before confirming the winner.

4. Prize Details The winner will receive six tins from the Back to Basics range. The winner will have the freedom to select the variants they prefer. No pre-set flavours or items are mandated. The prize is limited to the tin range only.

  • The winner will be contacted via the provided contact details to confirm their selection and delivery address.

  • Shipping costs will be the responsibility of the winner and must be paid before the items are dispatched.

  • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other items.

5. Eligibility

  • The competition is open to residents of South Africa only.

  • Participants must be 18 years or older to enter.

  • Employees of Back to Basics, their immediate family members, and anyone else directly associated with the competition are not eligible to enter.

6. General Terms

  • Back to Basics reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice.

  • Any incomplete, illegible, or fraudulent entries will be disqualified.

  • Back to Basics is not responsible for any technical issues, delays, or disruptions that may affect participation.

  • By entering the competition, participants grant Back to Basics the right to use their name and/or review in marketing and promotional materials related to the competition.

7. Liability

  • Back to Basics will not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered as a result of participation in the competition or the acceptance of the prize.

  • Participants indemnify Back to Basics against any claims arising from their participation.

8. Privacy Personal information collected as part of the competition will only be used for the purposes of administering the competition and contacting the winner. Back to Basics will handle all personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

9. Closing Date The competition closes at 11:59 PM on 31 July 2025. No entries will be accepted after this date.
